FAQs
Manchester Airport to Sheffield: your questions
Where will my driver meet me at Manchester Airport?
Terminal 1 closed in March 2026, so flights now use Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 (Ryanair). Add your flight number when you book and we plan the pickup around the time you actually land. Choose Meet & Greet and your driver waits in arrivals with a name board. Otherwise we tell you where the car is waiting.
What if my flight is delayed?
Add your flight number when you book. We track the flight and move your pickup to the time you actually land.
Can I book a return journey?
Yes. Choose “Return” in the booking form and add the date and time of your journey back. Both legs are priced before you book. If you only need the way back, see Sheffield to Manchester Airport.
Is this a licensed taxi?
Yes. FindCab is a licensed private hire operator (Manchester City Council private hire operator licence PO8017). Every journey is pre-booked at a fixed price, and every driver holds a private hire licence.

Arriving in Sheffield
The Snake Pass can close in snow or after an accident, so we check the route before an early pickup and will tell you if we think the longer way round is safer.
From the airport we usually head the Pennines via the A57 Snake Pass or the M1 and M62 depending on conditions.
