About FindCab

We set FindCab up because booking a car to the airport should be simple. You should know the price before you book, the driver should turn up on time, and the car should fit your family and your cases. Most of our work is to and from Manchester Airport, but we also do station runs, business travel, weddings, events, minibus trips and long journeys anywhere in the UK.

Licensed drivers and vehicles

In England, private hire drivers, vehicles and operators all need a licence from a local council. To license a driver, councils usually carry out an enhanced criminal record check, check the driving record and ask for a medical, and many also require safeguarding and disability awareness training. Vehicles are inspected for safety and condition and must carry private hire insurance. Licences are renewed and the checks repeated.

We expect more than the minimum: smart, polite, on time, and help with the bags.

How we plan a journey

Every booking is checked before the day. For departures we look at the flight time, the terminal and the route, and check for planned road closures. For arrivals we follow the flight. For early pickups in winter we watch the weather, and if we think you should leave earlier, we ring you. Drivers aim to arrive a few minutes before the booked time.

Why fixed prices

People planning a holiday or a business trip want to know what it costs. A fixed price lets you budget and compare, and there is nothing to argue about at the end. It only changes if the trip itself changes, such as an extra stop. Child seats are free, payment is by card online, and you can compare every car on our fleet page.
