Manchester Airport hotels and how to get to them
Staying near the airport before an early flight or after a late landing?
A night at an airport hotel takes the pressure off an early departure or a late arrival. The hotel is the easy part. Getting to it, and from it to the right terminal, is where plans can go wrong.
Hotels near the airport
Several well-known chains have hotels close to Manchester Airport, including Clayton, Radisson Blu, Holiday Inn, Premier Inn and Crowne Plaza. They suit different budgets, and some are walkable from the terminals while others rely on a shuttle bus or a short drive.
Check before you book
- Shuttle times. Many hotels run a free shuttle, but not always through the night. Check that the times match your flight.
- Parking. If you are leaving a car, ask what the hotel charges and whether the package includes it.
- Breakfast. An early flight often means leaving before breakfast is served. Ask about a packed one.
- Terminal. Confirm which terminal you fly from. See our guide to Manchester Airport terminals.
When a car is better than the shuttle
A pre-booked car is useful when you arrive after the last shuttle, when you have a lot of luggage, or when you are travelling as a family or group. Your driver can meet you in arrivals, and you can add a flight number so we track the landing and adjust the pickup if it is delayed.
To arrange it, book online, enter the hotel as your drop-off or pickup, and choose a car from our fleet. Meet and greet is £5 extra. You pay by card online, and the price is fixed when you book.
Make the most of the stay
