Luggage and large items

As a guide, each passenger can bring 1 large suitcase (up to 23kg) and 1 small bag. Tell us about golf bags, bikes, skis, pushchairs or other large items when you book so we send a car that fits. If extra luggage does not fit safely on the day, the driver may refuse it or you may need a bigger vehicle at the extra cost.

Child seats

In a licensed private hire car the law lets children travel without a child seat: under 3s in the back, and children 3 and over using an adult seat belt. We still recommend a proper seat. We can fit up to 2 baby, child or booster seats if you ask when you book. You can also bring your own.

Smoking and vaping

Smoking is against the law in our cars. Vaping is not allowed either. Smoking or vaping in the car will be charged as soiling.

Alcohol

You can carry sealed alcohol. Please do not drink in the car, and a driver may refuse anyone who is too drunk to travel safely.

Passenger behaviour

Our drivers can refuse or end a journey if a passenger is abusive, violent, too drunk to travel safely, or asks them to break the law, for example by carrying more passengers than seats. Fares are not refunded in these cases.

If you leave something in a car, call or email us with your booking reference. We log every item found and keep it for 28 days. You can collect it or we can send it back to you for the cost of delivery. Items not claimed are given to the police or to charity.
